Indian teen given three years for role in gang rape
A TEENAGER has been given three years in a reform facility for his role in a horrific gang rape of a woman on a Delhi bus last year.
BBC News reported the teenager was convicted on charges of rape and murder over the crime, committed when he was aged 17.
The 18-year-old, who cannot be named, was given the maximum term possible for a juvenile.
All of those allegedly involved in the crime have denied the charges.
The rape of the 23-year-old woman in December caused uproar across India and made headlines worldwide.
