Driver injured in kangaroo collision

A woman has been injured after the car she was travelling in collided with a kangaroo overnight.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said the women reportedly struck the roo on Emu Mountain Rd, Peregian Beach just before 9pm on Saturday.

She was taken to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition.
