Fast food find goes viral

THE story of a Toowoomba mother's unsavoury fast food experience has attracted widespread attention from The Chronicle's online community.

An internet version of Kylie Steger's complaint against Hungry Jack's has been opened more than 26,000 times since the story was published on www.thechronicle.com.au on Tuesday.

Mrs Steger said a burger she had brought from the Alderley St outlet had a crudely drawn penis on the inside of the box.

More than 15,000 of the views had come through links from Facebook.

By comparison, The Chronicle's recent story on complaints about local government election signage attracted 1463 views in the week it was published.
