Lisa Hyde pregnant post premature for Tyson Mayr

LISA Hyde - the runner-up on last years season of The Bachelor - almost sent her boyfriend's Tyson Mayr's Instagram fans into a frenzy this morning.

She posted a photo with co-hosts of a local radio station appearing to be proudly showing off a baby belly.

The post was made on Tyson's Instagram account while he is on the set of the I'm A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! Australia reality show.

The Sunshine Coast radio station (which doesn't deserve a mention for this cheap PR stunt) had hoped to hook mainstream media into a story about Lisa being pregnant.

But it didn't take long for fans on Instagram to give up the scam.

"Your baby is a little lumpy,'' one posted.

"Lisa!! Stop playing hahahha,'' another wrote.

Others were clearly taken in by it all, posting OMG comments.

The 27-year-old beauty has been managing her boyfriend's social media accounts while he's on the show. "I keep uploading photos with no shirts on. It's not hard to look at him is it?" she laughed.

"The support has been lovely but there are a lot of girls asking him on dates."

Hyde, a Sunshine Coast-raised fashion designer, credits her time on the reality dating show for meeting Mayr.

"I probably never would have met Tyson or been as confident in myself if I'd never done the show," Hyde told APN in February. "It really opened me up to talk about my feelings and helped me to go out and find someone."

Hyde and Mayr met at the Gold Coast Turf Club on Melbourne Cup Day when they judged fashions on the field.

She introduced him to her Noosa-based parents over the Christmas holidays.

"It usually takes me a little longer to introduce a guy to my parents," she said.

"I knew he was pretty special when I met him, so I didn't mind introducing him to mum and dad."

The Gold Coast native is the least famous of the 10 celebs roughing it in the South African jungle on the reality show.

Mayr won Jauntaroo's Chief World Explorer competition last year, writes blog The Naked Traveller and is an ambassador for RainCatcher, a non-profit organisation which installs water filters in remote communities.

"It's not about getting famous for him," Hyde said.

"It's more about sharing what he does and raising awareness for the organisation he works for."
