Inside ‘awkward' cheating conversation

Married At First Sight has just been rocked by yet another cheating scandal, with Jessika Power sneaking off from the group to make out with another woman's "husband", Dan Webb.

Their romance has been brewing over the past week, but before Jessika made a play for Dan, she tried to gauge Nic Jovanovic's interest in an affair.

Cheating contestants Jessika and Dan shared their first kiss on the show last night.

Afterwards, she tried to defend herself on Talking Married, insisting Cyrell's "husband" had led her on - but Nic has now delivered his side of the story.

"I don't think I've given her any impressions that I was interested," he told the panel.

"It was a very awkward situation. I didn't know it was coming, I didn't know I was going to be in that position."

Last week, Jessika admitted she was “sexually attracted” to Nic.

The electrician, 28, added he and Jessika had just had "a lot of banter".

"I'm a bit of a flirty person, but I'd hate to think that I did give her the wrong impression. Personally, I don't think I did, but I'm a pretty friendly guy," Nic said.

When Jessika first pulled him aside, Nic claims he assumed she was "checking up" on him and his relationship with Cyrell.

"It sort of then escalated really quickly to, you know, 'if things don't work out, maybe we could catch up' … I think she's an attractive girl, I think she's very pretty … but my eyes are on Cyrell and I'm married, so that's how I'd like to keep it," Nic insisted.
