
Max Mad: Fury Road cleans up at Critics' Choice Awards
MAD Max: Fury Road cleaned up at today's Critic's Choice Awards.
The film won nine awards including Best Director for Chinchilla-born filmmaker George Miller.
Spotlight was named Best Picture while Leonardo DiCaprio continues to gain strength in his push towards next month's Oscars.
Brie Larson's nine-year-old co-star in Room Jacob Tremblay stole the show with his confident acceptance speech after winning Best Young Actor.
"This is super cool. This is the best day of my life," he said.
"I know where to put this (award) - right on the shelf next to my Millennium Falcon."
In the TV categories Mr Robot and Fargo were the big winners.
