Shark sighting at Moore Park Beach

MOORE Park Beach was closed for an hour on Saturday after a shark sighting.

Life guards spotted the shark about 8am and the beach reopened at 9.15am.

A Surf Life Saving Queensland spokeswoman said beachgoers have been well behaved across the region.

She reminded swimmers to stay between the flags.
