The charges relate to Martin's involvement in the partial decapitation murder of 46-year-old Mr Martin at a Quarry Rd address on July 13, 2014.

The court has previously heard Martin allegedly took out life insurance policies on his father totalling $2.5 million.

At his last appearance, Mr Bell told the court the evidence in the case amounted to more than 15,000 pages.

Michael Martin Jr's former wife, Candace Martin, and Jessica Honey Fallon were also charged over their involvement in the murder.

Mr Bell told the court Mr Percy would be overseas until July 13.

"I'm marking the papers to be committed for trial on that day," he said.

Mr Bell asked for Mr Martin to appear at court in person on July 19.
