Woman in hospital after suspected snake bite

A woman was taken hospital on Wednesday night after she sustained a suspected snake bite to the lower leg at a private address in Sapphire Central.

Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics were called to the incident about 7.30pm.

The woman, who was in her 40s, was transported to Emerald Hospital in a stable condition.
